Live Etiquette

Many people complain that they are not being noticed when they come into a room and don't return. To be noticed you have to enter a person's room in a specific way to help ensure that you are noticed without spending all  of your coins. 

When entering a room in the top left hand corner you will see either a red button that says follow or you will see an orange heart. If you see the following that means that you will need to follow them to get credit for gifts and comments that you are making. You don't have to because ultimately all of the gifts that you are sending go towards your overall gifting badge. If you are not following the host you will send your daily heart to me to join their fan club. This can give you exclusive access to stickers and more for that LIVE host. 

If you are following the person you want to make sure that you get your heart and write something quick in the chat. This can be Hello, Good Morning, How is everyone, What is the  game? Any of these will give you the engagement points that you need. Your next step is to go to the exclusive gifts and send 5-10 Go Popular. (If you are in a bigger room watch the circle and slowly send the populars to stay on the screen longer than a second.) 

Once you have sent the gifts this should have given you enough time to hear what the topic of the LIVE is. Join in the conversation at hand. Remember that TikTok rewards you for being a social person. Talk to people and engage. Don't take things to heart as a lot of people do things to get a rise out of people and bring in the viewers. People love controversy. 

Making genuine connections is what this app is all about highlighting. Just like many of us go to work and make friends with people we typically would never even speak to in other circumstances. Social media is meant for people to communally come together and share with each other.  Don't judge these rooms you go into with a presumptuous eye but one with curiosity. I know many people didn't socialize with others in high school and it shows. But the same standoff nature is not going to get you anywhere.
